My story for Expecting Moms!

Not to long ago someone asked me how I felt physically and emotionally in the days leading up to the birth of my first child and what I felt when I laid eyes on my little one for the very first time.
This is my story and advice to her and all of you first time pregnant moms out there.

I'm 28 and I've been blessed with 3 children, me and my husband started early.lol Our first is a little boy, well he's 7 now, but i still remember the day we went into the hospital to have him. Physically, i was ready, swollen feet, back aches, getting up 100 times a nite to the bathroom, it was just time. But emotionally i remember the days leading up to his delivery, everything was running through my head, who is he gonna look like, what color is his hair, and just so nervous about being a mom. I was only 21, I had him 5 days after my 21st b-day. but when he was born all that seemed to just go away it didn't matter who he looked like or if his hair was purple. He was our baby and we just knew everything would be ok. For me it was like the motherly instinct just kicked in the minute i saw him. And now 7yrs and two daughters later I still look at him and remember when he was just a small baby. And think of how fast the years have gone by and that it seemed like just yesterday we were going to the hospital to have him.
So my advice to you is always remember "that day" in the delivery room when you have your baby because it truly is a special day and you will never forget it . But cherish the early days when your baby is growing and learning to look up at you and smile for the very first time or crawl for the first time. Because for me as a mom, thats the most awesome feeling in the world.
